Digital X-Ray

Digital x-rays provide improved comfort of mouth x-rays and less cranial exposure to radiation. With digital x-rays, patients can have around 70% less exposure to radiation than conventional x-rays. Digital x-rays also produce larger and clearer photos to better source hard-to-see cavities and the images can be easily stored on a computer and transferred to different dentists or orthodontists for referrals. Digital x-rays are also more environmentally friendly in the long run.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral cameras are a crucial tool for checking your oral health. They allow our staff to take enlarged pictures of your mouth that are hard to see otherwise, which provides us with a clear view of your oral health. Intraoral cameras are also mostly automated and simplifies the process of checking your oral health, which saves a lot of time and energy for the patient and our staff.

Panoramic X-Ray

With panoramic x-rays, your dentist can easily look for problems such as bone abnormalities and fractures, cysts, impacted teeth, infections, and tumors. It's a much faster and simpler process than traditional x-rays. Also, the panoramic technique requires fewer steps compared to traditional dental x-rays, creating a more convenient and comfortable procedure for the patient.

Cephalometric X-Ray

Cephalometric X-Rays allows your dentist to take a comprehensive image of the side of your face. The images produced by a cephalometric x-ray helps your dentist detect several different issues such as: orthodontic issues, TMJ issues, broken teeth or jaw, jaw positioning, or impacted teeth.

We use endodontic motors to help speed up your root canal appointments! These electric motors are faster and easier to use than traditional files, which allows your dentist to complete your root canal prep appointments faster. Televisions are situated on the corners of operatories at Fairview Family Dental so that when the dentist leans his patients back in the chair, they are able to watch a featured show or movie. This serves as a distraction from the fact that you are in the dentist office and has served to alleviate tensions associated with dental visits for a lot of anxious patients, especially children.
